On April 3, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred on the east coast of Taiwan on April 3. According to the latest data, at least nine people died, more than 800 people were injured. This is the strongest earthquake in Taiwan over 25 years. The epicenter was about 18 kilometers south of the city of Hulyan - in a sparsely populated area, but underground tremors were felt including in the capital, the city of Taibee. At least 26 buildings fell on the island.
