The Chelyabinsk Regional Court sentenced the local resident Heinrich Uzallo to 12 years in prison for arson of relay cabinets.

28-year-old Chelyabinets found guilty in the case of sabotage Part 1 of Art. 281 of the Criminal Code and attempted sabotage Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 of Art. 281 of the Criminal Code . According to the FSB version, Uzyallo decided to take arson of relay cabinets, since he was a “supporter of the Ukrainian terrorist organization” and experienced “personal hatred of authorities of the Russian Federation” . Also, Uzhallo, according to the version of the prosecution, sought to "suspend the supply of weapons for the needs of Swo." The investigation believes that a week before the arson in Telegram with Uzhallo , the “customer” contacted the proposal to set fire to the relay cabinets for the reward.

In June 2023, I set fire to two relay cabinets in the Leninsky district of Chelyabinsk. According to the investigation, as a result of a fire and equipment damage, one cargo team lingered for 50 minutes, it took about 16 hours to restore the system.

Uzyallo himself claimed that he had given a recognition “under pressure” and did not assume that the act “would pose a danger to the defense capacity” of the country.

The court also obliged Uzhallo to pay 462 thousand rubles of compensation in favor of Russian Railways for material damage. The convicted person will spend the first three years out of the appointed term in prison, the remaining nine years - in a maximum security colony.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, the court sent a 14-year-old schoolboy and his acquaintance in the pre-trial detention center in the case of arson of relay cabinets.

• According to Mediazons, the age of 124 accused is known. 39 of them at the time of detention was not even 18 years old. Another 55 people - aged 18 to 25 years. And only 17 - older than 35.

• It is also known about two saboteurs. The 41-year-old T. Sidorkin was sentenced to 13 years in the colony on charges of Gosizmen and the preparation of sabotage, and her ex-husband was sentenced to 17 years in the colony. The second saboteur is 17-year-old Daria Bychkova. She was detained with three 18-year-old boys on suspicion of arson of a relay cabinet.
