In Russia, a programmer was planted for 7 years for a Donat FBK

The court in Dolgoprudny, Moscow Region, sentenced the 29-year-old programmer and activist Alexei Malyarevsky to the seven years of the colony, who the investigation accused that he donated 150 dollars of the Corruption Fund (FBK), and also stuck extremist leaflets.

The court found Malyarevsky guilty of financing extremism and participation in the extremist community, Mediazone reports .

The prosecutor's office demanded that the accused be appointed eight years of imprisonment, as well as confiscate a thousand dollars and 100 thousand rubles ($ 1090) from bank accounts. Malyarevsky, in turn, pleaded guilty.

The programmer was detained on September 1, 2023, after he entered the Manezhnaya Square in Moscow with the poster "Freedom Navalny, Freedom Political Prisoner." Then he was delivered to the police department, but released without a protocol. In October, Malyarevsky was arrested in a criminal case of participation in an “extremist organization”

Malyarevsky sent a donation in favor of the FBK from Revolut. During the trial, the prosecutor reproached the programmer that he donated money to the opposition, and not the elderly and orphans.

The leaflets that Malyarevsky stuck were dedicated to the judge of the Moscow City Court Andrei Suvorov, who sentenced Navalny to 19 years in the case of extremism.

In court, it also became known that the last five years Malyarevsky lived in the Czech Republic, where his wife received a proposal for work. But in 2023, he quarreled with his wife and returned to Russia.

The Corruption Foundation (FBK) is a Russian non -profit fund created by the Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny in 2011. The main activity of the FBC is journalistic investigations, the disclosure of corruption schemes and suppress corruption in the highest bodies of the Russian authorities.

Alexey Navalny died in a penal colony on February 16.
