Some of the leading British financial companies pay women on average by 28.8% less than their male colleagues. This is evidenced by the data obtained from 21 companies. Banks and other companies from the financial sector have committed themselves to reduce the gap in the amount of salaries, which in certain cases reaches 54%.

At the moment, women are even less likely to be hired by highly paid positions, and also do not always pay additional bonuses provided for in some positions.
