“Ashes” published a video filmed in the dilapidated Belgorod village of Kozinka on the border with Ukraine

The Ashes publication published a video with footage from the dilapidated Russian village of Kozinka, which is located on the border with Ukraine.

The three-minute video, filmed from the window of a driving car, shows three-story and private houses with traces of shells. In some of them, entire entrances were destroyed. There are no people on Kozinka Street; the author of the video showed several corpses of domestic animals. Household and construction waste is scattered on the streets; windows and gates of buildings are most often open.

“These are the views here. And these species are not in “new regions,” guys. This is also Russia, the village of Kozinka,” notes the author of the video.

“Ashes” was not the first to publish a video from Kozinka. On April 6, Izvestia military correspondent Vladislav Kharchenko came to the border village and showed the same streets. The publication's employee was wearing a helmet and body armor. According to him, there are “a lot” of Lepestok mines on the roads of Kozinka. Kharchenko claims that “militants of the Kyiv regime” are shelling the village from the village of Lukashovka, Kharkov region, bordering Russia.

The military correspondent of Izvestia noted that on the streets of Kozinka “there are craters [from explosions] everywhere and ammunition is scattered.”

“We’re going slowly, we’re taking risks. “Enemy drones are not asleep,” Kharchenko said from inside the car.

Ukraine is shelling the border areas of the Belgorod region in response to constant Russian attacks. According to regional authorities, dozens of civilians have already died as a result.

In March, the Ministry of Defense reported several times about “attacks by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups” that penetrate the territory of the Belgorod region. The Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), which is fighting on the side of Ukraine, also reported about the fighting in Kozinka and called on the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, to evacuate people from the border village.
