The husband of the creator of the “marathon of desires” Elena Blinovskaya, who is in a pre-trial detention center, Alexey, signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and will soon be at the front in Ukraine. TASS and RIA Novosti write about this, citing unnamed sources.
“The contract has been concluded, yes, it’s true. He made the decision himself,” the TASS interlocutor said. He refused to disclose other details of this decision, since, according to him, Blinovsky decided “not to publicize this story.”
At the same time, Izvestia allegedly published an audio recording of a conversation with the businessman’s father, Vladimir Blinovsky, who refutes the information that his son went to the front.
“Alexey is traveling, he has a lot to do right now,” the man says on the recording. At the same time, he noted that on April 14, his daughter’s husband would leave for the front.
Shot also reports that Blinovsky decided to go to war, citing an unnamed source. The channel claims that he decided to take such a step in order to “avoid the loss of his last business,” to rehabilitate himself and to try to “rescue his wife from the pre-trial detention center.”
According to Shot, of his 12 companies, three are already in liquidation. We are talking about the IT company “Give a Dream”, the clothing production company “Three Cats”, as well as the seafood processing company “Aquaculture”.
“The court also began bankruptcy proceedings for the Olivia Group company. This company worked for more than four years, selling clothes and fabrics,” the channel said in a statement.
Elena Blinovskaya was detained on April 27, 2023, when she tried to leave Russia through Belarus. She is accused of non-payment of more than 900 million rubles in taxes, as well as legalization of criminal proceeds totaling more than 700 million rubles. At first, the couple chose house arrest as a preventive measure, but after the New Year's party that Blinovskaya threw at her home, she was sent to a pre-trial detention center. The court also arrested 50 accounts and more than 20 properties belonging to the Blinovskys.
Alexey Blinovsky is accused of complicity in tax evasion and money laundering on a particularly large scale. The court banned him from using communications and the Internet, but did not restrict his movements.
