Iran closes airports after attack on Israel

Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran has temporarily stopped accepting flights, Iranian agency ISNA reported. According to him, flights may resume from 6 a.m. on April 15 if the restriction is not extended.

Flights at Tehran Mehrabad Airport, airports in Shiraz, Isfahan, Bushehr and cities in western Iran are also canceled until Monday.

• Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a massive attack on Israel on the night of April 14, launching about 300 missiles and drones. The attack, according to Iranian authorities, damaged two Israeli military bases. The Israel Defense Forces said Iranian forces slightly damaged the Nevatim airbase in the Negev desert.
• Against the background of the Iranian attack, the aviation authorities of Israel, Jordan and Iraq introduced restrictions on civil aviation flights in the airspace of these countries. On the morning of April 14, the restrictions were lifted .
