Putin’s favorite newspaper congratulated the “abandoned and forgotten by everyone” Alla Pugacheva on her anniversary

On the website of Komsomolskaya Pravda, on the day of Alla Pugacheva’s 75th birthday, an article “Abandoned and Forgotten by Everyone” appeared. At the same time, the publication congratulated the singer on Facebook, which is banned in Russia. Journalist Oleg Kashin drew attention to this.

The Komsomolskaya Pravda post on Facebook says that the publication congratulates Pugacheva on her anniversary, wishes her health and “to be closer to the Motherland - both physically and mentally.”

At the same time, an article was published on the publication’s website about how the singer’s anniversary allegedly turned into a disaster: “Neither her husband nor her friends came to her anniversary. Abandoned and forgotten by everyone, Alla Borisovna is forced to cope alone with the troubles that have befallen her.”

Komsomolskaya Pravda claims that due to Iran’s night attack on Israel, Pugacheva is forced to celebrate her anniversary alone, since the guests were unable to fly to the celebration. Her husband Maxim Galkin, according to the publication, citing unnamed sources, is outside Israel. At the same time, Galkin himself published a video on Instagram in which he said that he was in Israel.

Previously, Russian television channels, contrary to previous practice, did not include holiday programs in honor of Alla Pugacheva’s anniversary in their broadcast schedule on April 15. Vedomosti drew attention to this. Journalists made this conclusion based on the program schedule on the online platform “We Watch.”

The publication notes that for the singer’s previous anniversary in 2019, Russian TV channels showed festive stories and concerts. For example, on Channel One they broadcast “A Gift for Alla,” and the Russia 1 channel showed the greeting “Happy Birthday, Alla!”

After the start of the war in Ukraine, Alla Pugacheva, together with Maxim Galkin, left Russia and Israel. In September 2022, Galkin was recognized as a “foreign agent”, and the singer asked to be included in the register.

In October 2023, after the outbreak of war in Israel, Galkin stated that his family had no intention of moving from the country. In March 2024, Pugacheva also recorded an appeal to Stas Mikhailov, in which she called him an asshole. Mikhailov argued that the artists who left because of the war “will crawl to Russia on their knees.”

Komsomolskaya Pravda is considered Putin's favorite newspaper. It was she who was first allowed by Putin to use her image in an advertising campaign. In April 2022, the general director of the newspaper, Vladimir Sungorkin, came under EU sanctions.
