Police detained a trash streamer from Volgograd, who called participants in the war in Ukraine “cannon fodder,” in a criminal case

In Penza, police detained trash streamer and TikToker from Volgograd Pavel Prokudin, who called participants in the war in Ukraine “cannon fodder.” Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk spoke about this.

They plan to take the detainee to Volgograd - there, as the local department of the Investigative Committee reported , he must be given a preventive measure in a criminal case. Prokudin is suspected of humiliating the dignity of Russian military personnel (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code).

The reason for criminal prosecution was the April 4 stream. In the video, a Volgograd resident criticized the Russian military participating in the war, called them “cannon fodder” and discussed whether there was any “sense” to their lives. According to the streamer, his life and activities bring much more benefit.

On April 5, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, drew attention to the stream. Later, the police began checking the video to “discredit” the army; the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, also became interested in the video, as Mizulina wrote . After this, a case was opened against the blogger, but before that he managed to leave Volgograd and was put on the wanted list.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in Penza Prokudin lived in an apartment rented in someone else’s name. The detainee apologized on camera and explained that he criticized the servicemen because he “drank and did not control his emotions.”

In July 2023, Prokudin was fined under the administrative article of inciting hatred and humiliation of human dignity (20.3.1 of the Administrative Code). Then the reason for the protocol was a video in which he “expressed a negative assessment of people of the Caucasian nationalities.” The fine amounted to 10 thousand rubles.

Prokudin is known for trash streams in which he used violence against his loved ones. In particular, once on air he used force against his mother and grandmother, and later he also beat his girlfriend. In the summer of 2023, a blogger insulted Muslims during a live broadcast, after which he apologized on camera.
