AST Publishing House has stopped selling the latest novel by Vladimir Sorokin

AST Publishing House has stopped selling the book “Heritage” by Vladimir Sorokin. This was reported in the telegram channel of the publishing group.

In addition to The Inheritance, ACT has stopped selling The House at the End of the World by Michael Cunningham and Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin. According to the conclusion of experts from the Russian Book Union, these works contain “LGBT propaganda.”

In January, the book “Heritage”disappeared from online stores and from the marketplaces Ozon , Wildberries , Labyrinth, Moscow House of Books and Book24 , which belongs to the AST publishing house. Shortly before this, pro-government activists, including those from the “Sorok Sorokov” movement , demanded that the novel, which has an age mark of 18+, be checked under the administrative article about “propaganda of pedophilia.”

Vladimir Sorokin’s book “Heritage” completes his trilogy about Dr. Garin.
