According to the “dossier”, in 2020, Ivanov contributed to the creation of a “military-building company”, which is a general contractor in the construction of houses in occupied Mariupol.

According to the Dossier, in fact, the construction work in Mariupol is performed by Olympicitistroy, the largest contractor of the Ministry of Defense. Journalists associate another company with Olympicitistrium, Oborongspetsstroy, which was engaged in the purchase of marble for the Ivanovo mansion in the Tver region.

Journalists of the project "Project" also published an investigation of Ivanov's elite real estate. The material claimed that the deputy minister’s family owns a land plot in the village of Uspensky, the cost of which can reach 600 million rubles.

Timur Ivanov was detained on the evening of April 23 on suspicion of receiving a bribe. According to the RIA Novosti agency, on the same day before the detention he was present at a meeting of the College of the Ministry of Defense with the participation of Shoigu. The next day, the Basmanny Court sent him to the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center - it contains suspects on the affairs that the FSB leads. Ivanov did not admit his guilt.

Together with Ivanov, his friend Sergei Borodin was arrested . According to investigators, Ivanov and Borodin "entered into a criminal conspiracy with third parties, united with them in advance to commit an organized group of crime."
