The Barnaul mayor's office refused to allow Communist Party activists to hold a May Day demonstration. State Duma deputy and head of the regional branch of the party Maria Prusakova reported this in her Telegram channel.
“It’s becoming more and more difficult to come up with reasons, so this time the authorities’ argument boils down to the lack of indication in the application that the demonstrators have posters,” Prusakova noted.
