In Malevich Park (part of the Romashkovsky Forest), environmental activist Ivan Shchekin was detained after he asked the workers a question about whether they had the necessary permits. He himself told OVD-Info about this.
The man saw trenches being dug in the park and asked about the legality of these actions. After this, the workers called the police, saying that he was interfering with their work. Now Shchekin is in the Odintsovskoye OP (Barvikha), they want to draw up a report on him under the article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code).
