The Basmanny Court of Moscow granted the investigation's request and took into custody Tajik citizen Dzhumakhon Kurbonov, who was detained in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, Interfax reports.
The court hearing was held behind closed doors. At the same time, as RIA Novosti writes , during the meeting it became known that Kurbonov was registered in Tajikistan, he worked in Russia unofficially, and lived in a hostel in Moscow.
The press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction published photographs of Kurbonov taken during the hearing.
The day before, Russian media reported that a citizen of Tajikistan born in 2003 had been detained as part of the investigation into the terrorist attack at Crocus.
According to investigators, Kurbonov provided other defendants in the case with money and means of communication. He was charged with committing a terrorist attack that resulted in the death of a person as part of an organized group (clause “b” of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code).
