“If we are talking about a call for military service, then earlier one of the effective strategies for evasion of the army was not accommodation at the registration address, avoiding receipt of the agenda and other attempts to hide,” the head of the movement “Citizen” tells the New-Europe. Grigory Sverdlin still calls on everyone who wants to avoid service in the Russian army, not live at the place of registration, where they will be sought in the first place. For example, he should always have a special “security folder” with him, which will contain all the necessary documents about the possible delay or an application to the AGS, as well as the entire correspondence with the military registration and enlistment office. ”

Elena Popova advises to send requests to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the military registration and enlistment office about whether a personal appeal was received regarding the military liable for the presentation of the agenda or his drive to the draft commission. If there is an administrative case with the army in relation to a person, it is necessary to demand that he be considered and issued a decision in the absence of a citizen.

Diseases and AGS

Grigory Sverdlin recalls that recruits who want to avoid service in the Russian army have three options for obtaining a delay: medical indications, study or social reasons.

“One of the ways to avoid service in the Armed Forces is to prepare medical documents for liberation from the army,” explains Elena Popova. - The collected package of documents telling about the diseases of the conscript, close people by proxy must be introduced to his personal file at the military registration and enlistment office. Base for mobilization

Not only draftees, but also persons to be mobilized will be entered in the register created by November 1. Our interlocutors believe that the overall base of all military personnel may be needed when new mobilization is announced in Russia. “With the spring and autumn calls, the Ministry of Defense, apparently, copes without a register,” says Grigory Sverdlin. - But the experience of mobilizing 2022, during which so many violations in the data were identified, showed the need to create a single state resource.
