In Kyiv, doctors will judge who helped the deviators leave the country for money

In Kyiv, a criminal group of ten doctors was exposed, who organized a scheme of illegal transfer of male recruiting age across the border according to fake documents. According to the Kiev city prosecutor's office, an indictment has already been sent against the criminal group to the court.

As established by pre-trial investigation, doctors, including two chairmen of the military medical commission, established allegedly serious diseases in men of draft age.

"In the future, the established false diagnoses became the basis for recognizing these men temporarily unsuitable for military service, which made it possible to cross the border," the Kiev prosecutor's office said.

Persons who were looking for those who wanted to become temporarily unsuitable and directly issued a package of the necessary documents were involved in the scheme. With customers, they discussed the diagnoses in advance and fictitiously issued the stay of these persons in inpatient treatment. The cost of services for the manufacture of fake medical documents was three thousand dollars.

All defendants are detained, they face up to nine years in prison.
