The Russian military shelled the Kholodnogorsky district of Kharkov, said the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov. Guided aerial bombs were fired at the city, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces claim .

According to Terekhov, an elderly woman died as a result of the attack. Two people were injured - men 78 and 66 years old, said the head of the regional administration Oleg Sinegubov. The first one has an acute reaction to stress, the second one has a shell shock.

The tram with passengers was damaged, but the people in it were not injured, said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko. According to Sinegubov, at least two private houses were destroyed. Terekhov wrote that there were people under the rubble. The Kharkov police said that they were trying to save one person from under the rubble.
