Leningrad region: FSB officers shot a person

The FSB officers reported on the murder of a suspect in the preparation of a series of terrorist attacks in Russia in the Leningrad Region. According to state media, citing the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of the Russian Federation, the alleged saboteur acted on the instructions of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In particular, he allegedly intended to carry out terrorist attacks against facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region, as well as against participants in one of the volunteer battalions and its volunteer center in St. Petersburg.

• In March, it became known about the murder of the Belarusian activist Nikolai Alekseev in Karelia. The FSB officers who shot him, the Belarusian was part of the Kastuya Kalinovsky Regiment, was on the interstate wanted list and planned to commit a terrorist attack in Olonz. During the examination of the body, a bomb, a gun and cartridges were allegedly found. Alekseev was 49 years old. Before the persecution began, he worked with his wife in a fitness club in Minsk.
