The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put Vladimir Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko on the wanted list
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the wanted list. RIA Novosti drew attention to the information in the search database.
It is not specified what criminal case the Ukrainian president is wanted for.
It is unknown how long Zelensky has been on the wanted list.
Update. RIA Novosti writes that former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has also been put on the wanted list. According to Mediazona, Zelensky was put on the wanted list in February 2024.
In December 2023, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairsput the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, on the wanted list. Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia brought charges in absentia of committing terrorist acts against four Ukrainian military leaders, including Kirill Budanov. The Investigative Committee considers them involved in drone attacks on Russian targets. In addition, Budanov was accused in Russia of creating a terrorist community, committing a terrorist attack by a group of individuals, storing weapons and explosives. On these charges, Budanov was arrested in absentia in April 2023.
