In Ukraine, for the disclosure of information about the work of the TCC, it threatens 8 years in prison

For the dissemination of information on social networks and communities regarding the movement of employees of the territorial setting centers (TCC, former military commissariats), criminal liability threatens to work. This was reported in Khmelnitsky TCC.

"The dissemination of information on social networks, communities of messengers regarding the place of stay, the movement of the TCC military personnel of the Khmelnitsky region during the implementation of the activities of military -liable citizens leads to the disclosure of the forms and methods of fulfilling the task of the military service to protect Ukraine," the department said.

In Khmelnitsky TCC, it was added that the spread of such information supposedly " leads to the undermining of the authority of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) in society."

The disclosure of information about the work of the TCC contain signs of the corpus delicti provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces and other military units in a special period).

In particular, this is expressed in interference in the activities of the TCC, the creation of obstacles, barriers aimed at preventing, termination or prohibition of certain actions by the AFU and other military formations.

Therefore, for the dissemination of information about the work of the TCC, liability is provided for in the form of imprisonment from five to eight years.

Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have discovered more than 10.7 thousand criminal cases due to evasion of military service.

The Ukrainian parliament approved the bill on mobilization in the second reading on April 11. It was later signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The law will enter into force on May 18, 2024.

According to the new law, urgent military service is canceled in Ukraine. Instead, from September 1, 2025, basic military training is introduced for a period of five months.

Men who are previously recognized as “limitedly suitable” will have to re-pass the military medical commission within 12 months after the law entered into force.

At their own request, people with disabilities, freed from captivity and under 25 years of age, but who have passed the basic combined arms training or basic military service, can be mobilized.
