A report was drawn up against informer and homophobe Timur Bulatov for “discrediting” the army

The Tverskoy District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow has drawn up an administrative protocol on "discrediting" the Russian army against activist and homophobe Timur Bulatov. A message about this appeared on the website of Moscow courts of general jurisdiction on May 7, Mediazona noted . The first to report the case against Bulatov was the Telegram channel "Beware, News".

The report was drawn up under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences, which provides for an administrative fine of 30 to 50 thousand roubles as a punishment for citizens. It is unknown why the report was drawn up. The Moscow police did not comment on this.

Bulatov told the telegram channel "Beware, News" that the administrative protocol could have been drawn up after supporters of the founder of the banned party "Volya" Svetlana Lada-Rus (Peunova), on whom he himself wrote denunciations, contacted the police. According to the telegram channel, a week ago Bulatov received a letter about a summons for questioning, but he ignored it.

“I have a big question, where is the discrediting and where am I, a person, on whose orders about eight people are sitting in St. Petersburg, and more than 20 throughout Russia. Not only do I support the SVO , I was already in Donbass in 2015,” Bulatov said in a conversation with “Beware, News.”

In a conversation with Mediazona, Bulatov initially said that he knew nothing about the protocol and doubted that the administrative case actually existed. Then Bulatov clarified that he “got a call from Moscow”; however, he is confident that the callers “will sort it out” and “throw [this protocol] the fuck out.”

• Timur Bulatov is known for informing on LGBT people. He sought to have teachers fired from schools because of homosexuality. In 2019, he participated in a protest at Alexei Navalny's headquarters in St. Petersburg under the slogan "Navalny protects perverts." Bulatov fought against children's drawings in a Yekaterinburg school because of "propaganda of homosexuality" and tried to disrupt the ArtDocFest festival because its organizers allegedly promote "LGBT values." Bulatov wrote denunciations of the mother of artist Yulia Tsvetkova and blogger Xu Haoyang.
