On Millionnaya Street on May 9, a mobile exhibition-reconstruction "Leningrad Victory" is held. The auto -platforms contain installations dedicated to the events of the Second World War and post -war construction in Leningrad. At the stands - people in military and civilian clothes of the 40s, as well as strengthening and objects of military life.

The automobile platform with the inscription “We don’t throw our own” closes the exposition, which became one of the slogans of the full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine in February 2022. On the platform there are people in modern military equipment, including a fighter with opposed gun and a sniper with a rifle.

According to Fontanka, among those invited to the parade - "new generation front -line soldiers. They move independently, in wheelchairs or with the help of friends."

Speaking in Moscow on Red Square, Vladimir Putin accused the Western Elites of conducting a “revenge policy”, said that during the Second World War, “all of Europe worked for Hitler,” and called all participants in the invasion of Ukraine heroes.
