During the offensive, units of the Russian group of troops “North” “liberated” the settlements of Borisovka, Ogurtsovo, Pletenevka, Pylnaya and Strelechya in the Kharkov region, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported .

The head of the Kharkov regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, answering questions from journalists, called the situation in the north and northeast of Ukraine “fully controlled.” According to him, heavy fighting continues in the settlements named by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

He added that Russian troops tried to advance in other directions within the region, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped these attempts. “There is no threat from a ground operation for Kharkov,” Sinegubov said.

In the morning, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on battles in five settlements named by the Russian Ministry of Defense, which are located on the border with the Belgorod region and classified as a “gray zone” - that is, territories in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding defense.
