The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Ukrainian military “moved to more advantageous positions” in the Volchansk area

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 23:00 on May 14 that Ukrainian troops had moved their forces near the city of Volchansk and the village of Lukyantsy in the Kharkov region.

“In certain areas, in the areas of Lukyantsev and Volchansk, as a result of enemy fire and assault operations, in order to preserve the lives of our servicemen and avoid losses, the units maneuvered and moved to more advantageous positions,” the General Staff said in a statement.

Volchansk and Lukyantsy are located in the north of the Kharkov region near the border with Russia.
