One of the winter evenings, my friend Evgeny booked a Kia Sportage car near the Kyiv station on the Delimobile server. Arriving at the place, he saw a young man in one shirt, in one shirt, in one shirt, who stated that he had left his things in the car - a jacket and a couple of small bags. Eugene opened a car, and a strange guy took his things. Before he had time to leave, the Delimobile employee called Eugene and reported on things forgotten by the previous tenant. Eugene told him that he had given things. Already starting the movement, my friend noticed that between the two front seats there is a bottle of Perrier mineral water. Eugene decided not to touch her just in case.
A day later, he received such a letter from Delimobile:
“Hello, Eugene. Other users noticed garbage after your rental. <...> There is a fine for such a violation under a lease agreement (paragraph 17 of Appendix 3). Pay 500.00 ₽ through the application in "trips and fines" within a day.
A photo of a bottle of mineral water in the car interior was attached to the letter.
Evgeny immediately sent a letter to the email address of Karchering, in which he spoke about the situation with forgotten things and asked him to release him from paying a fine. The next day the answer came:
“Eugene, hello. We are sorry that you were faced with such a situation, but after your rental, garbage was recorded. During the assessment of the car condition, you do not provide a fixation of the salon, as well as before completing the lease. We notify, the garbage is not fixed before your rental. Based on the above data, a fixed internal fine was set, which is indicated in the TS lease agreement. We do not ask you to remove our vehicles, but we want to remind you that the fixation of the car is an integral part of the lease. You provide the state of the vehicle at the time of acceptance and its change. The service is not aimed at setting unreasonable fines, but to consider its cancellation, we need photographs where the fact of accepting / delivery of the vehicle with or without garbage will be recorded. Nikita from Delimobile. "
Eugene firmly decided not to pay an unreasonable penalty to Delimobile, but so that Carchering would not write off the money from his Sberbank card, he decided to re -hem. In the local branch of Sberus, he explained to an employee named Grigor Akopyan why he does it. And suddenly it turned out that Grigor also suffered from Delimobile under no less strange circumstances.
Akopyan said that in May 2021 he took the car in this car sharing, reached it to the destination, but since he was in a hurry, did not take a picture of the car (then the Delimobile rules allowed to complete the rent without a photo of the car). The next morning Grigor discovered two messages from the Delimobile: about a fine of 37 thousand rubles for “damage to the vehicle” (scratch on the driver's door) and about a fine for 10 thousand for not reporting an accident - although there was no accident! Grigor immediately called Delimobile, where he was told that in case of non -payment of a fine, the company would transfer the case to the court and collectors, and also write a statement to the police - and as a result it will be deprived of the driver’s license based on the fact that he allegedly disappeared from the scene of the accident. The second participant in the Delimulars accident was refused to provide contacts - on the grounds that this is confidential information.
The day after their call, Grigor went to the business center, next to which he parked the car, and asked their security service to provide him with video cameras. They provided, and it turned out that at 23.30, when Grigor parked the car, the recording was interrupted, and resumed at 00.10–00.15, when a person stands near the car and photographs it.
After that, Grigor found on the Internet
There are many complaints of Delimobile’s clients that it is worth not taking a picture of the car once-as some strange accident occurs immediately, although the car was in perfect order.
This story ended with the fact that a year later Delimors threatened Grigor with a penalty, transferring the case to court and the need to reimburse legal costs in case of loss. He surrendered - he paid "Delimobil" 48.5 thousand rubles, after which he deleted the account of this car sharing.
There are a lot of similar stories told by the clients of Delimobile.
