Drunk Wagnerite stabs his lover 47 times out of jealousy

The Lyubertsy City Court in the Moscow Region sentenced former participant in the war in Ukraine Maksim Golovachev to 11 years in a maximum security penal colony. He was found guilty of murder (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code) of Dzerzhinsky resident Guzyaliya Burenina. Verstka drew attention to the sentence .

At the trial, Golovachev said that he had known Burenina for about five years — they worked together at the Dixie store. She later quit and went to work at a vegetable warehouse. Burenina invited Golovachev to go with her, and they worked together at the warehouse for two months. Golovachev said that he was "in close relations" with Burenina and was "serious" about her.

On November 9, 2023, 25 days after Golovachev returned from the front, he and Burenina were drinking in her apartment. At some point, the woman told Golovachev that while he was at war, she had started communicating with another man and entered into a relationship with him. Golovachev, in his own words, remained silent, but "experienced strong jealousy and anger." Subsequently, they had a quarrel that lasted about half an hour.

Then Golovachev went to the kitchen to smoke, and Burenina remained in the bedroom. "In a state of intense anger and jealousy," Golovachev took a kitchen knife, went into the bedroom, sat down next to Burenina, who was lying on the bed, and began to stab her. Burenina tried to protect herself from him with her hands. When Golovachev realized that the woman was dead, he stuck the knife into the mattress, went to the bathroom, washed his hands, and took off his blood-stained underwear, which he put in a bag and later threw in a trash can on the street.

The man got dressed, called a taxi, arrived at his rented apartment, collected all his things and documents and left by train to Tver, where he has a house left by his grandmother. Golovachev did not make it home and stayed at a Tver hotel. There, on November 13, he was detained by security forces.

Burenina's body was found by her colleagues on November 10, who called the police. An examination established that Golovachev had struck the deceased at least 47 times in the face and body. The woman died from a blow to the neck, the knife piercing her carotid artery.

When passing the sentence, the court took into account mitigating circumstances: Golovachev's full admission of guilt and his state awards. The man's lawyer confirmed in a conversation with Verstka that he fought in Ukraine and received awards for it. She also reported that Golovachev had a previous conviction, but refused to disclose the details. At the same time, the Lyubertsy Court's verdict states that the man had no previous convictions.
