The Basmanny District Court of Moscow extended until August 3 the arrest of the journalist of the Sotavision publication Antonina Favorskaya, who is accused of participating in the activities of the "extremist community", Mediazona reports .

In the court, Favorskaya was represented by a lawyer for the appointment of Valentin Filipenkov. The lawyer defending the journalist Fedor Sirosh was not notified of the meeting. “They must notify me for three days. I have material, I got acquainted, but there is no definition, there is no notice, ”he said to Mediazone.

At the meeting, the investigator stated that Sirosh was taken away, since he was a defender from a witness in the same criminal case, writes Sotavision. What witness we are talking about - it is not specified.

• Journalist Antonin Favorskaya was detained on the evening of March 27 at the exit from the Sakharovo special receiver in New Moscow, where she was serving 10 days of administrative arrest on the protocol on disobedience to the police.
