Finally, Tamerlan Khuchiev, who had previously resigned as Prime Minister of Chechnya, became the Minister of Industry and Energy of the republic. For 11 years, Khuchiev served as executive director of the public fund named after Akhmat Kadyrov, which is called the “personal treasury” of the head of Chechnya. Isa Tumkhadzhiev, the republican minister of highways and another son-in-law of Kadyrov, became the acting chairman of the government.
