Russian artist Valery Chek died at the age of 42. This was reported by the magazine "Arthid".
Since 1998, it was a member of the school of contemporary art Avdeya Ter-Ogaganan, and at the beginning of the zero was in the art group “Radek Society”. He worked in painting, graphics, installations and graffiti.
It was exhibited in Russia, France, the USA, Greece and Japan. The works of Vytak are in the meetings of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Foundation of Vladimir Smirnov and Konstantin Sorokin, the Mark Rothko art center in Daugavpils (Latvia), Deutsche Bank and private collections.
In 2022, he received the Artist of the Year award from the Cosmoscow contemporary art fund.

The Vesna charity foundation reported that he got sick at 34 years old. According to the artist, once after awakening his vision, the beginning of double and the fog appeared in his eyes. According to the results of the MRI, doctors diagnosed him with multiple sclerosis.
The artist began to lead a healthy lifestyle. As Spring notes, at that time he had already gained success: his works were stored in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, in the State Tretyakov Gallery and in private collections. He received more and more orders, but at the same time he began to get tired. One day, working on the picture for the festival, he lost the sensitivity of his finger. It also described other symptoms of the disease.

“Once, at the time of exacerbation, my speech was violated. Instead of the usual sounds, porridge turned out. It seems that he had never felt so helpless in his life. A feeling of hopelessness covered me with my head ... Normal speech returned after I started taking drugs that change the course of multiple sclerosis, ”he said.
What exactly died from, it is not reported. Arthid writes that he died as a result of a long illness.
