A court in St. Petersburg ordered a local resident not to keep more than two dogs in her apartment. As a result, the woman sold the apartment and moved to another place. This is stated on the website of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for St. Petersburg.
As Kommersant reported , the breeder's name is Elena Komarova, she is 56 years old. Her neighbor Anna Miloradovich went to court last year: she complained that Komarova has been keeping at least eight adult dogs in her apartment since 2016, as well as puppies. According to her, the woman is breeding animals for sale. The bailiffs' website says that Komarova has been breeding dogs for over 30 years: at first she was involved in large breeds, and since the early 2000s she has been breeding pugs and Chihuahuas.
Miloradovich complained to the court about the unpleasant smell coming from Komarova's apartment and the constant noise from the dogs. She noted that the residents of the building had repeatedly tried to influence the situation and appealed to various authorities, but had achieved nothing. The meeting of the owners of the building approved a contract for the maintenance of the building, according to which the residents did not have the right to keep more than two cats or dogs in the apartment, but Komarova's kennel continued to operate.
The bailiffs' website states that, against the backdrop of the proceedings, Miloradovich registered with a psychiatric clinic.
Last October, the Kirov District Court of St. Petersburg partially satisfied Miloradovich's demands, Kommersant wrote. The judge ordered Komarova to keep no more than two dogs in her apartment and collected from her legal expenses in the amount of more than 70 thousand rubles. The woman was ordered to fulfill the claims by October 20, but the owner of the animals filed an appeal and the proceedings continued.
As a result, the bailiffs reported on the execution of the court decision after Komarova sold the apartment and moved to another place with the dogs.
