The Russian-appointed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, reported a rocket attack on the republic, which killed at least two people.
According to Aksyonov, the dead were residents of the Simferopol district; they were outside during the shelling. The head of Crimea also reported that in Alushta, one of the missiles hit "an empty commercial facility." Aksyonov's report does not say whether there were casualties or fatalities.
Earlier, the Telegram channels ASTRA , "ChP Sevastopol" , "Krymskiy Veter" wrote that explosions were heard in the Bakhchisarai region and several cities in Crimea at once - Yalta, Saki, Alushta, Dzhankoy and Simferopol.
A pro-government blogger from Crimea, Alexander Talipov , reported that, in addition to missiles, drones were used in the attack; according to his information, everything was shot down by air defense.
