
Russian troops launched another missile strike on Kharkov on Thursday afternoon. According to preliminary data, seven people were killed and at least 16 were injured. City and regional authorities reported this.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian troops fired at least 15 missiles at Kharkov and its suburbs within a quarter of an hour from the S-300 complex. An industrial zone and civil infrastructure facilities came under attack.
The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, said that there is confirmed information about attacks on the transport infrastructure and one of the utility companies involved in the life support of the city. The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that the printing house came under attack. "Ukrainian Pravda" writes that we are talking about the Factor-Druk enterprise. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine published a video of the fire extinguishing.
According to preliminary data, all the dead were employees of the printing house. Debris clearance continues.
In addition, the Russian military reportedly struck the village of Zolochev in the Bogodukhovsky district of the Kharkov region, injuring at least two people.
The Kharkov region is subject to daily rocket attacks and airstrikes as Russian troops advance in the northeast. On May 22, the Russian army carried out an airstrike on Kharkov, as a result of which 12 people were injured, five of them were hospitalized. The driver of the trolleybus that was hit had both legs amputated.
