More than a hundred participants in the war with Ukraine decided to become deputies

For preliminary selection of candidates for deputies of regional legislative assemblies from United Russia, 103 former participants in the so -called "special military operation" submitted applications. According to Kommersant's calculations , this is 3.2% of the total number of applicants.

In percentage, most of all such applicants were gained on primaries in the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol. So, out of 222 applicants for participation in the elections to the Republican State Council from United Russia, 20 people (9%) returned from the front or continue to participate in hostilities. 16 military personnel want to break into the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol (9.2% of 173 United Russia participating in the primaries).

In second place in popularity among participants in the invasion of Ukraine is the Republic of Tuva, where among 183 United Russia 12 (6.6%) are military personnel who returned from the front or continue to participate in hostilities.

Also, the Mosgor Duma earned popularity among the participants in the war with Ukraine, where the status of a “participant of Swar” gives ”candidates for candidates“ an advantage in the form of 25% of the final result. Of the 356 people participating in the preliminary selection, 15 people (4.2%) are front -line soldiers: mobilized, contractors and personnel officers.

As for other regions, the activity of military personnel in the primaries of the "EP" is significantly lower. In the Republic of Altai and Tatarstan, nine people intend to fight for the chairs of deputies, in Karachay-Cherkessia-five, four in the Tula region and the Khabarovsk Territory, three in the Volgograd region and the Republic of Mari El. Two more military people participate in preliminary elections in the Bryansk region, and one in Kabardino-Balkaria.
