The Russian government is the main disinfector of Europe. She owns hundreds of thematic channels and publics that disseminate inaccurate information in order to influence public opinion in the EU. Particular attention of Russian propagandists is aimed at Germany. It is here that Russia is helped by organizations that, hiding behind the protection of children, lead a public campaigns to prohibit the supply of weapons to Ukraine. They conduct photo exhibitions, give interviews to far -right journalists, advocate closing the NATO bases and, possibly, are associated with the GRU. "Cold" tells what is known about them.

The organization Alternative Kinder Zukunft (“Alternative future of children”, Akiz) has been organizing photo exhibitions under the name “Children of War” since the summer of 2022. At the stands, the organizers show photos of children who died or suffered during the war in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine. Part of the stand is dedicated to the "Angels Alley" - a memorial complex in Donetsk. The organizers and spectators of the event say that they advocate "for peace, against the supply of weapons and for diplomacy." The exhibition of photographs with the call to “stop the war” takes place in different cities of Germany, it was also brought to France and Belgium.
“The project is dedicated to the suffering of children in the combat zones. Its goal is to increase the awareness of society and attract people's attention to this problem. To show that military operations and participation in the war, especially through the supply of weapons, lead to victims among the most unprotected. Often people do not realize this. The “Children of War” project talks about real victims that are presented on large posters with photographs, names and dates. This is not some “accompanying losses” somewhere far away, but real, small, innocent people. Thus, people should think about their attitude to the participation of Germany in wars around the world, ”the description says on the website of the photo project.
One of the founders of Akiz and the organizer of photo exhibitions is Oksana Walter, who lives in Germany, a native of Kazakhstan. She is a regular guest of Russian propaganda television channels, in the comments of which she regularly accuses the “military aggression of the Kiev regime” of the death of children in Ukraine and Western supplies of weapons. Despite the reproduction of popular theses of Russian propaganda, she denies communication with Russia in every possible way. According to her, Akiz does not support any of the parties to the conflict.
“More than 500 people saw the“ Angels Alley ”project. People cried. We even have shots where the German man came up and asked what kind of photographs. We explained to him, showed him that we cannot be exposed in general access, explained to him what it was, where it was, why it began in 2014. The man went, knelt down in front of these banners and stood and cried for two minutes, ”Walter said in an interview with RT.
According to her, Alternative Kinder Zukunft protests against the armament of “any military conflicts” and advocates “the future without NATO, without this cynical influence from which their children suffer”. She accuses Europe of the supply of weapons and the fact that it "falls into the hands of children."

In addition to RT, Valter was interviewed by employees of the ultra -right Austrian Channel AUF1. Its founder and editor-in-chief is Stefan Magnet, who in the 2000s was part of the Bund Freier Jugend law-star group (“Association of Free Youth”). He is the founder of the right edition of Wochenblick, which distributed misinformation about Covid-19 and vaccination. Not a single German edition with Walter communicated.
The Alternative Kinder Zukunft project is also known as Krieg & Kinder (“War and Children”) and “Children need peace”. The authors of the Krieg & Kinder telegram channel (“Children of the War”), which is being conducted in German, illuminate AKIZ photo exhibitions, accuse Ukraine of genocide and tell the stories of children who have died in the zone of military operations since 2014.
“War has been in Ukraine since 2014. Until February 2022, Ukraine itself called it a “anti -terrorist operation” (ATO), not a war. This ATO was nothing more than a civil war - the Ukrainian army against its own regions. For example, if Germany and Bundeswehr begin to fight against individual federal lands. For these almost nine years, the Kiev government has done the same thing that Israel is now doing in the Gaza Strip, ”one of the posts says .
One of the organizers of the Krieg & Kinder project, Mark Bril from Dortmund, has regularly visited the annexed Crimea since 2019. In Germany, he participates in shares against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and "For peace with Russia." Walter and Bril did not answer the questions of the "cold".
In June 2023, Alternative Kinder Zukunft held a photo exhibition near the Ramstein air base, on which representatives of NATO and Ukraine are found from April 2022, deciding on arms deliveries. AKIZ is trying to create a wide protest, for which they also PR promise the Stopp Air Base Ramstein campaign, whose participants conduct demonstrations for the world without NATO.
Since 2023, the organizers of the action annually hold the “World Camp” in support of the closing of the air base and collect money for it. Activists call the reasons for closing the Ramstein base the presence of UAVs that attack countries around the world, for example in Africa, as well as the “threat of NATO against Russia” in the airbase. Another reason is environmental damage from NATO aviation.
“The US Armed Forces are the world's largest environmental pollutant. The US Army uses more fuel and produces more greenhouse emissions than most medium -sized countries. Toxins from aircraft fuel and service materials (fire fingers) pollute the soil and groundwater. Permissible pollution standards are sometimes exceeded a thousand times, ”the project website says .
A similar rhetoric against the Ramstein airbase regularly appears in the Krieg & Kinder channel. For the importance of pro -Russian activists, they conduct expert events, inviting as guests of pro -Russian speakers. For example, director Wilhelm Domka Schulz, who shot a documentary about a fire in the Odessa House of Trade Unions and accusing Ukraine of “fascism”, and Germany-of their support. Another participant in the action in support of the closure of the Ramstein base is the rapper Kilet Mor, a supporter of the theories of the conspiracy, which denies the climate change.
Sources in the Western special services believe that AKIZ can be one of the organizations that the work of the psychological division of the GRU at number 54777. Akiz activities European officials associate the support of Ukraine and NATO among their citizens - and especially in Germany. In an interview and reports produced by pro -Russian activists, they try to show Germany as "a divided nation mired in chaos."
Interviews, exhibitions and protests of German activists are actively covered by Russian wire-wire telegram channels Anna News and News Front , which have been supported by the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR since 2014. According to Western officials, these publications are additional communication AKIZ and their analogues with GRU. Since 2021, News Front has been under US sanctions as a possible connection with the Russian special service. The choice of Germany as a center for the work of pro -Russian forces is not accidental: at the moment, Germany is the main supplier of military assistance to Ukraine among the EU countries.

Another possible reason to build up the work of pro -Russian activists is the elections to the European parliament, which will be held in the EU countries from June 6 to 9. Seven political parties are put forward in Germany in the elections, while three of them - the “alternative to Germany”, the “Left Party” and the Union of South Swiss Voters (SSV) - are striving for rapprochement with Russia and opposing the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
In April 2024, Belgium began an investigation on the fact of interference in the European elections. According to investigators, members of the European Parliament offered money for the distribution of Russian propaganda. Since 2015, 17 thousand cases of pro -Kremlin misinformation have been recorded in the European Union. More than one and a half thousand incidents have occurred since the beginning of 2024.
Most of all the stuffing is carried out in relation to the policy of Ukraine, in second place is pro -Russian content, in third - criticism of Western countries and NATO. The most common disinformation method is the use of true information, coupled with fake details, pulling out facts from context and banal lies. The most common topics of stuffing: war in Ukraine, LGBTK+, climate change, migration, “elite against the people” and “traditional values”.
One of the popular methods of disinformation in the Russian authorities is the cloning of sites of Western publications. Pro-Russian and anti-European content is created on sites whose web address is slightly changed. According to European officials, the surge of stuffing happened after February 24, 2022, and now the disinformers have intensified on the eve of the elections to the European Parliament. The EU authorities note that Russia is the main disinfector in the European information market.
