Putin Threatens European Countries

Vladimir Putin went to Tashkent and spoke at a press conference. During the conference, he made a threat against European NATO member countries.

As Meduza reports , Putin discussed with journalists the issue of Western countries providing weapons to Ukraine. He stated that Franco-British Storm Shadow missiles could be launched "without the presence of Ukrainian troops." In his opinion, they are launched "by those who produce and allegedly supply these systems to Ukraine."

He then noted that the American ATACMS missiles are programmed based on space reconnaissance data, “and the mission itself is prepared by representatives of NATO countries.”

"NATO representatives, especially in Europe, especially in small countries, must understand what they are playing with. They must remember that they are countries with a small territory and a dense population. They need to keep this factor in mind before talking about striking deep into Russia," Meduza quotes Vladimir Putin as saying.

Also, speaking at a press conference, Putin spoke about the alleged illegitimacy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In his opinion, the Ukrainian Constitution provides for the extension of the powers of only the Verkhovna Rada, not the president.

"The law on martial law allows not to hold elections, but this does not mean an extension of powers. According to the Constitution, in this case, presidential powers are transferred to the speaker of parliament. This is all a preliminary analysis and assessment. According to them, the only legitimate power is parliament and the speaker of the Rada. The West wants to wait until the Ukrainian authorities make all unpopular decisions, including further lowering the draft age, after which "they will simply, snap, be replaced" with other people," Meduza quotes Putin as saying.

Finally, Putin touched on Russia's ties with the Taliban. He said that in the current "realities" it is necessary to build relations with the Taliban. He acknowledged that "there are problems" in Afghanistan, but added that Russian authorities are "constantly discussing" the issue of removing the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations.
