PACE offers to pay money to Ukrainians who will return to the country after the war

The Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on migration agreed on the decision to pay monetary assistance to Ukrainians who will return home. This was announced by MP Aleksey Goncharenko.

According to him, Ukrainians who will return to Ukraine from Europe after the war will be able to receive financial assistance from the EU countries. The norm on the payment of funds was added to a large report in Ukraine, which is preparing the PACE committee on migration.

Earlier, the survey, which was conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KMIS), showed that only 50% of Ukrainian refugees living in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic are ready to return home, but under certain conditions. Half of refugees consider their return to Ukraine unlikely.

Refugees called the main conditions for the return of the normal work of critical infrastructure (34%), security (34%), housing issue (26%) and completion of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation (26%). About 16% of respondents indicated the work factor for work, 13% indicated the possibility of children to attend a school or garden.
