Roskomnadzor added the game "Romance Club" to the register of sites containing information, the distribution of which is prohibited in Russia. The register now includes pages for the game in the Russian AppStore and Google Play .
The application was added to the registry on May 28 out of court. At the same time, Roskomnadzor did not specify the grounds on which the resource considered the game banned. The Telegram channel "Caution News" reports that in the latest of the released novels of the game "Seven Brothers", the user can choose the orientation of his character - he is asked to choose with what gender the character will build relationships.
"A freshman living in an Ivy League fraternity, you're not as simple as you seem, but seven brothers have secrets too. There are no innocents at Rosewood... and guilt is subjective," the novella's description reads.
In addition, the Telegram channel, citing players, writes that “the novella contained a lot of content related to sex and ‘non-traditional relationships’.”
Earlier, the head of the "Safe Internet League" Ekaterina Mizulina spoke about the game: "I don't know what "Romance Club" is, we haven't contacted anyone. Should we?"
"Romance Club" is an interactive game developed by the Moldovan company Your story interactive. It contains several short stories in which players can create their own character, determine its characteristics and influence the plot by making choices during the story.
