Former adjutant Vladimir Putin and ex-governor of the Tula region Alexei Dyumin was appointed secretary of the State Council. In this post, he replaced Igor Levitin. This was announced today by the Kremlin press service. Earlier, Dyumin received the position of assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, he was instructed to deal with issues of the defense industry, as well as organize the work of the State Council and oversee sports. According to Russian media, by the beginning of the fifth presidential term of Putin, already seven former guards have occupied posts in the federal authorities.
