A resident of Togliatti Polina Yevtushenko is 25 years old, she has a six -year -old daughter. Yevtushenko is accused of preparing for the Stateismman and calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, she inclined a resident of Samara to join the Legion “Freedom of Russia”, fighting on the side of Ukraine, and published similar calls in social networks. A witness to the prosecution was a new acquaintance who pretended to share her eyes, provoked talk about the “Legion” and wrote down everything on the recorder. His testimonies became the basis of the prosecution against Yevtushenko. The "cold" managed to establish the identity of the provocateur and find out that it is not the first time it works undercover.

Polina Yevtushenko lived in Togliatti all her life. At the age of 19, she gave birth to a daughter, and when she went to kindergarten-she began to work: first a player in Time Cafe, then a sales manager in the company of the Yota mobile operator. At 24, she quit and decided to open her own business-an online store of women's sportswear on Wildberries. For the sake of business, Yevtushenko graduated from a program for young entrepreneurs and won a grant from the regional authorities.
She should have been given a grant last summer, but instead they arrested. On the morning of July 12, 2023, Yevtushenko led her daughter to kindergarten, and when she went out of the gate, she was on the ground - she was tumbled down from the back.
Listen to the audio version in the "cold" podcast:
“Turning around, I saw that there were more than ten men in civilian clothes. They put me on a plastic screed in my arms and threw me into the car as if I were a bag of potatoes. Following these men got into the car and put their legs on me. They did not explain anything. I thought these were bandits and they were being taken to kill. I screamed and called for help, ” - this is how Yevtushenko describes his detention in a letter to the Cold. After the detention, she was taken to the search home, and the next day the court sent her to a pre -trial detention center, where she has been located almost a year.
What else did Yevtushenko do before arrest?
Yevtushenko’s friends, with whom the “cold” talked, tells that before the detention she was very active, was engaged in running, boxing, yoga, singing, playing drums, drawing, dancing. In addition to sports and creativity, Yevtushenko loved to learn foreign languages: Latin, French, Ukrainian, Polish, German - all by textbooks.
The young man, who met Yevtushenko about three months before her arrest, told the cold that she helped him to leave the depressed episode. “We talked every day, Polina always listened to me and very much supported me, called for walks or in the morning runs,” he says.
“Polina really wanted to open her store, she spent a lot of time on drawing up a business plan, which was needed for a grant application. And when I won it, I was very happy and planned to open a store as soon as possible. But she was detained, ”says another acquaintance Matvey Egorov (name and surname changed). “Polina’s life was not simple before her arrest: she raised her daughter, worked and managed to find time on a hobby. She is a man with a rod, but not hard and very positive, ”he adds.
Since the beginning of the full -scale war, Yevtushenko took an anti -war position, which she repeatedly wrote about in her social networks - Instagram and VKontakte: she shared a reference to the petition with the requirement of impeachment Vladimir Putin, published photographs of money banknotes with anti -war inscriptions, instructions with the rules for subsidiating the Russian Freedom Legion.
Initially, Yevtushenko was accused of declining to the Stateizer - allegedly she persuaded a certain resident of Samara to enter the Legion of Freedom of Russia "to participate in the hostilities against the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine."
Traditionally, the cases related to the Stateizer are classified, so the men nor the age of the man had previously disclosed. However, the “cold” managed to establish his personality-this is the 36-year-old Samarars Nikolai Komarov, whom she met about six months before the detention. This was confirmed by the "cold" Yevtushenko herself (by his name, surname and photography).
As a result, the investigation introduced the screenshots of Yevtushenko’s anti -war posts and recording conversations with a new acquaintance - Nikolai Komarov, who became a key witness to the prosecution. The final charge stated that Yevtushenko is suspected of committing 12 crimes under six criminal articles:
By the aggregate of accusations, Polina Yevtushenko threatens to 22.5 years of imprisonment. The investigation in her case has already been completed. Since March, she regularly goes to court hearing. Since the detention, Yevtushenko spoke with her daughter only a few times, and they personally could see themselves only nine months after the arrest.
Friend Polina Yevtushenko, Matvey Egorov ( name and surname changed ), knew about her friendly relations with Komarov. As the “cold” found out, the man from Samara himself initiated the acquaintance: he wrote to her in VKontakte. At first they talked by correspondence, and later - met live. Between Samara, where a new acquaintance lived, and Tolyatti, where Yevtushenko lived, an hour of driving by bus. Egorov says that at first Yevtushenko was interested in communicating with Komarov, she thought they had a lot in common. “Polina is very open, friendly and believing in people. I think that is why she did not understand that something was wrong, ”says Egorov.

But "at some point, Polina said that she did not understand his motives and intentions," he adds: "She began to move away from him, and then she was detained."
“From what Polina writes, I can conclude that she did not suspect anything and considered him sympathy and communication sincere. And when she found out that he had reported to her, she was very surprised, ”says Elena Skvortsova, who met Polina after his arrest, for almost a year they exchange letters for almost a year.
Yevtushenko wrote to Egorov that at the stage of investigative actions they had a confrontation with Komarov - a simultaneous interrogation. After that, she began to call him in the letters "actor." In a letter “Cold”, Yevtushenko denies the accusations:
“I am accused of declining to join the Legion“ Freedom of Russia ”, but I did not bow anyone. This is falsification. I went to friendly dates, and then it turned out that this person wrote down our conversations on the recorder from the very first meeting. He asked me a bunch of questions about them [Legion “Freedom of Russia”], and I answered him. The notes ( Yevtushenko was able to listen to them at the stage of investigative actions. - approx. “Cold” ) circumcised. The moments that could justify me are excluded, and this is audible, since the conversations simply break off, ”she wrote to the cold.
Yevtushenko hopes that the court will allow you to listen to complete, uncircumcised records of conversations with Komarov. In her opinion, they simply collapse the accusation of a declension to the Stateizer. “There I can hear that I do not bow, but, on the contrary, I discourage him from participating in the war,” she writes.
The case against Yevtushenko is not the first and not the only case in which the provocateur appears that leads the conversations to the desired investigation or calling for certain actions. For example, in 2023, a 19-year-old resident of Yaroslavl Valery Zotov was sentenced to six years old. She was accused of trying to aim the collection point for mobilized. A few months before the detention of Valeria, he met and entered into correspondence a man whom her family and human rights activists consider to be associated with the FSB. It was he who offered a young woman for money to blow up a mobilized collection point.
Evgeny Smirnov, lawyer of the First Department, says that since 2022, provocateurs actively began to be the first to correspond with people who are somehow expressed in social networks against the war: first they rub them into trust, discussing how terribly occurring in Ukraine, and then ask questions that are important for a criminal case.
“For example, they ask if a person wants to help Ukraine in the fight against Russia, whether it supports explosions and sabotage. After that, the provocateur proceeds to the declension to active actions: for example, he asks to take some photos, put down leaflets, tell in social networks about how to surrender to the Russian military or prepare an explosion. When a person agrees, he is delayed, ”says Smirnov.
Cases based on communication with provocateurs, according to Smirnov’s assessment, are already at least several dozen: people are accused of Stateizmen, confidential cooperation with a foreign state or in terrorist articles (and often they are charged with several crimes at the same time, as happened with Polina).
In 2017, Nikolai Komarov had already participated in the “exposure” of the opposition: first he was introduced into the work of the Samara headquarters of Navalny, and six months later he shared “revelations” in a 17-minute video .
In the video, he told how disappointed that the staff of the headquarters deceived him, assuring him that participation in the protest on March 26, 2017 was legally, and allegedly refused him to pay a fine for participating in the rally. Komarov said that the staff of the headquarters allegedly focused only on involving minors to work, “because it is easier to convince them”, did not cover many problems, for example, deceived equity holders, and “they did not even print leaflets”, but asked to do this volunteers. At the end of the video, he argued that the Samara headquarters allegedly did not think about the elections in 2018.
Immediately after the publication of that video, the Samara headquarters of Navalny denied Komarov’s accusation. “Kolya was the only one who then received a fine in Samara for participating in a rally,” Yegor Alaseev, who worked in 2017, who worked in 2017 in 2017. - All the other detainees, and as far as I remember, there were more than 20 people, fought back from the fine. Kolya did not follow any of our advice, did not take advantage of the help of a lawyer and came to us with a demand to pay for his fine. When we told him that he had to appeal, he refused, and after that we saw a “exposing” video. ”
After this incident, according to Alasheev, the local headquarters of Navalny stagnated Komarov’s biography and suspected him of relations with police officers.
“We learned that earlier he was convicted of theft. Then we thought that he was specially sent to us. After the video, Kolya did not appear at the headquarters anymore, but we repeatedly met him at opposition rallies, where he had already come with a group of Samara nodes ( national liberation movement.-Approx. “Cold” ) and provoked us on brawls, ”says Alasheev.
As the cold found out, Nikolai Komarov really has a criminal record. In 2009, he was sentenced to two years of conditional term for the theft of the Sony Ericsson mobile phone. When the conditional term has not yet expired, Komarov came across again: he was accused of 17 episodes of the theft of cable and Internet equipment. In May 2011, he was condemned and sent to the colony for two years and one month, but after 11 months of conclusion, in April 2012, he was released at parole.

Also, the "cold" found that Nikolai Komarov was really involved in the movement of GCD in Samara. On Komarov’s page on VKontakte in October and December 2017, four photos were published with the “chief of staff of NOD” Samara Denis Shepelsky: in the pictures they stand in an embrace or squeeze each other's hands. Komarov is still signed to the groups “Russia NOD, Samara Region” , “National Liberation Movement of Russia” , “NOD G.O. Samara :: Official Group. " In a conversation with the Cold, Shepelsky said that after 2017, Komarov no longer took part in the shares of the node.
According to Yegor Alaseev, a few years after the “exposing” video, the employees of the Samara headquarters of Navalny appeared another certificate of Komarov’s relations with the police. In 2022, thanks to the investigation of the Protocol.Samara project, it became known that the person with whom Komarov made friends during volunteering - the police lieutenant colonel Alexander Melikhov, introduced into the work of the headquarters. For the sake of that operation, Melikhov even changed the surname and passport.
Komarov’s behavior seems to be what the police officer Melikhov did under cover: in addition to volunteering at Navalny’s headquarters, he built friendships with the opposition and went to rallies. “Cold” discovered the Twitter account of Komarov, in which, until January 2022, he published appeals to the Samara authorities with the demands to solve communal problems (for example, pour a hole in the asphalt or solve the problem of an open sewage hatch).
“Volunteering” in the Samara headquarters of Navalny is not the only part of Nikolai Komarov in opposition activity. "Cold" found out that in 2020 he participated in a rally against amendments to the Constitution. Then he was called the "activist of the Left Front" in Samara. Until November 2023 , Komarov launched under the publications of the Left Front in the Samara Region .
A person close to the left movement of Samara and knowing Nikolai Komarov personally, who spoke with the “cold” on the terms of anonymity, is sure that Komarov participated in opposition activity for the sake of personal benefit. “Nikolai considered participation in the left movement as a springboard: he wanted to get into power in order to get privileges and status. He wanted to become a deputy of the district council in Samara from the Communist Party, but they did not put forward him, ”says the activist. -He was also noticed in illegal manipulations: he tried to delay our guys in some muddy schemes. Typical scammer. "
According to the source of "cold", since 2022, Komarov is no longer an activist of the "Left Front". It is noteworthy that until 2017, when he first came to the headquarters of Navalny, and then portrayed the left activist, there was no hint of opposition views in his publications. On the contrary, in “Odnoklassniki” he reposted and put “classes” to the group “Political Review - We are for Putin!” , published the "Code of Honor of the Russian Officer" , memes with Putin or the military and the bear , wrote: "If you are Russian, be proud of it!" .

“Cold” discovered several accounts on VKontakte, which are attached to Simcard Komarov: “Nikolai Akimov” , “Nikolai Zhemchugov” and “Nikolai Tsarev” . In one of the profiles, he reposted publications from groups about Buddhism and Samara news. In the second, in addition to several photographs, there is nothing. The third account is closed.
The program that allows you to see how the VKontakte profile looked several years ago showed that Komarov published fascist statements on his page. For example, in September 2016, in the column “Classes”, he noted the following: “Work - pure blood 卐 White race 卐”, and in the “Favorite Books” section, noted the book of Adolf Hitler “Mein Kampf”.
As the cold found out, Komarov had regular financial difficulties. He was a client of several microfinance organizations, and according to the Federal Bailiff Service from 2018 to 2022, more than 600 thousand rubles tried to recover from Komarov. The reason for the penalties from the FSSP could be loans unpaid on time, mortgages, taxes, traffic police fines or other unfulfilled debt obligations.
“Cold” also discovered a criminal case against the full namesake of Nikolai Komarov and three more people under Article 173.1 of the Criminal Code for the creation of a legal entity through dummies.
According to the anonymous source of “cold”, now Komarov is under the subscription about the lower room.
"Cold" called Komarov. He asked for the name and name of the correspondent and the name of the publication several times, and then said that he was not familiar with Polina Yevtushenko and hung up. During the re -call, he said that he would call back in two hours, but did not do this and completely turned off the phone.
Despite the fact that the accusation against Yevtushenko in Gosizmen appeared due to the provocation, she still writes in letters from the pre-trial detention center that she believes in people: “I just know that sooner or later good will win. I hope that the war will not last long. "
Yevtushenko is worried about the isolation in the pre -trial detention center. “Life has worsened, every day looks like another. But even being in dungeons, you can find a lot of joy, and I am a master in this. My life was not the most pleasant in the wild, yet there I developed the skill to rejoice, no matter what, ”she writes. In the pre -trial detention center, Yevtushenko teaches languages , draws, sings in a whisper , writes poetry.

“I hope for the adequacy of the judge and the prosecutor, because the evidence for some articles is so doubtful that they should not have been accepted at all. But I hope not very much, ”Yevtushenko writes. “By a period of 10-15 years, I am mentally ready (more or less).”
In early May, Yevtushenko spent eight days in Kartsere - a small single penalty area. She received this punishment for 10 minutes later she turned off the TV.
