The building of school No. 1 in the village of Volnov-Nadezhdinskoye in the Primorsky Territory collapsed two days after the graduation of elementary classes passed there. This was reported in the regional prosecutor's office.
According to the security forces, the collapse of the ceiling and part of the facade of the school occurred on May 30 at about 18:30. At the same time, no one was injured. The prosecutor's office published several videos, which shows that there is no part of the brick wall in the building.
Now the territory of the institution is numb and is under guard. The prosecutor's office specified that the school was built in 1962.
“Siberia. Reali” clarifies that in 1962 the premises of the assembly hall were built, where the ceiling and walls collapsed. The remaining premises of the school were built in 1938.

According to the publication, two days ago in this assembly hall was a graduation primary school, which was attended by 160 children, as well as their parents. Journalists note that in addition to the assembly hall, the dining room suffered - the ceiling and part of the wall also collapsed there.
RIA Novosti, citing the regional department of the Investigative Committee, reported the initiation of a criminal case of negligence (Article 293 of the Criminal Code). The prosecutor Alexei Malyshev came to the place of collapse. He “warned” the director of the institution on the inadmissibility of the use of the school before obtaining the results of the examination. There is no preliminary information about what caused the collapse of part of the building.
Earlier, the Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov recommended schools to conduct the last calls on May 24 and 25, and graduation - May 28 and 29.
