After the death of sociology, people who are forced by virtue of the profession to talk about Russian politics and give predictions for the future, are looking for signs literally anywhere, turning gradually from analysts into seaside.
One, for example, a respected political scientist recently wrote from the European far away that "the situation around the arrest of General Popov can create serious problems in the relationship of society and the authorities." By the way, he is trying to comprehend the minds of Russians, counting, sorry, poop and other unpleasant emoji, who (presumably) Russians leave in Telegram under the records in the channels of officials and propagandists.
The optimist, of course, is sure that the regime is about to collapse-they cannot deceive emoji-kakashki!
Another lady is a political scientist, a pessimist, on the contrary, looking far from his American, looking at Russia, is already not condescending to comments - he simply publishes a photograph from a certain bookstore, where on a separate shelf - the works of Daria Dugina.
And really, what are the words? One glance at the photo is enough to understand everything, wave your hand and forget about the terrible Russia of the present.
Alas, I also do not own insaids, I am not endowed with secret knowledge, and for a long time I did not hold in the hands of “real sociological reports”, which, they say, make the presidential administration and other important departments. Honestly, I'm not even sure that such studies are still being conducted.
But the observer turned on, the person who looks at Russia from the inside has some advantages. In any case, I risk sharing observations.
Does the state carry out an expansion into the sphere of culture (since I remembered a bookstore), does it seek to rebuild it for propaganda needs? Yes, undoubtedly. It is stupid to deny the obvious. Moreover, it invades more and more new spheres, where, as it seemed recently, you can sit out and wait out. We took up the wrong books. It seems to be finally seriously. Museums are tightened. Right now, for example, in Moscow there are two exhibitions related to its - a large -scale project of the historical museum “Behind the tape” , to the launch of which Vladimir Solovyov personally put his hand, and “military commissar” in Zaryadye. There, the work of current TV correspondents is shown as a continuation of the work of journalists from the time of the Great Patriotic War-in full accordance with the basic propaganda narratives. Regional museums also do not lag behind the capital.
