
The police of the Czech Republic at the Vaclav Gavel airport detained four foreigners in connection with an incident on the Old Town Square in Prague, which occurred on June 1. This was reported in the press service of the police.
Investigators opened a criminal case against them on suspicion of several criminal offenses. Based on the new revealed facts, the case is most likely to be retrained, they say in the police.
"In view of the ongoing investigation of the whole case, we will not provide any additional information on the case at present," the report said.
On Saturday, June 1, on the Old Town Square in the capital of the Czech Republic there was a fight between two groups of foreigners. Volunteers who raised funds to help Ukraine at the stand of the Prague Maidan were attacked. A group of other people attacked them.
The Czech portal Novinky wrote that the fighting participants shouted at each other in Russian and Ukrainian, fought umbrellas, and later vandalism was subjected to the stand of the "Prague Maidan", near which everything happened.
