Poland imposed sanctions against the Belarusian salt manufacturer

Poland imposed sanctions against the Mozyrsol enterprise, which is one of the largest food producers in Europe. The decision to freeze assets and exclusion from public procurement was made by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Polish administration Tomash Semonyak.

Salt and stone salt do not fall under the sanctions of the EU. Previously introduced against Belarus.

The website of the Poland Ministry of Internal Affairs states that Mozyirsol OJSC is part of the Belgorus Pattern Belgospishcheprom, which is an organization subordinate to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.

"The use of restrictive measures to Mozyrsol OJSC will reduce the export capabilities of the company and thus affect the amount of funds transferred to the Belarusian budget, as well as the income of individuals and legal entities supporting Russian aggression and serious violations of human rights or repressions against civil society and democratic opposition. In Belarus," the document says.

Poland emphasizes that the company is connected with Eibatov Oleg Antolyevich and Bogdan Gennady Andreevich, included in the EU and Great Britain sanctions list in connection with the active support of the Lukashenko regime.

Earlier, Polish manufacturers sought the ban on the import of the attorney of salt from Belarus. They stated that this product is competition for their own products and should be overlapped with sanctions along with potassium.
