Missing supporter of Nadezhdin found in FSB office after search
The volunteer from Boris Nadezhdin’s headquarters and a supporter of the 'Dawn' political party in Primorsky Krai was found in the office of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in Vladivostok. Nikita Safin, a lawyer for Nadezhdin’s headquarters in Primorye, shared this information with '7x7' on June 6.
Vasily Gorelikov has been out of contact for over 35 hours. His apartment was searched at 8 AM on Wednesday, June 5, and law enforcement officers confiscated letters from political prisoners. It remains unclear why the activist was detained and what charges he is facing.
Lawyers were denied access to the detained activist. Gorelikov’s associates believe he has already been assigned a lawyer and that a preventive measure will be decided upon shortly.
Vasily Gorelikov was involved in the upcoming municipal elections in Ussuriysk. He is a supporter of Yekaterina Duntsova’s political party 'Dawn.' In March, he was detained by law enforcement while conducting an exit poll as a representative of the headquarters of Boris Nadezhdin, who was denied registration as a presidential candidate. Gorelikov was suspected of intending to spill brilliant green dye in a ballot box.
