Tornado hits Russia

In the Chelyabinsk region and Bashkortostan, local residents filmed a tornado. Hail the size of a chicken egg also fell there. This was reported by the publication 74.ru.

In the Chelyabinsk region, residents saw a tornado in the village of Navarinka near Magnitogorsk. About 800 people live there. Later, photos from the Agapovsky district appeared on the Internet, in which people are holding hailstones the size of chicken eggs.

The Agapovsky District administration called on residents to "adjust their plans taking into account weather conditions and observe personal safety measures." Footage of a tornado in the area of ​​the Gumbeyka railway station soon appeared.

The head of the Agapovsky district, Artem Yakhimovich, also reported a tornado and hail. On his VKontakte page, he wrote : “As a result of the elements, a number of road sections were flooded, power lines were knocked down — the following villages were left without electricity: Magnitny, Subutak, Alekseevsky, Kirovsky, Yuzhny, Chernigovsky, Trebiat, Utrennyaya Zarya. It will not be possible to restore the power supply quickly. I kindly ask residents to be patient and stock up on water.”

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Chelyabinsk Region, there are no casualties in the region. Local residents of Magnitogorsk reported fallen trees in one of the yards.

As 74.ru reports with reference to the Rossiya TV channel, the tornado came to the Chelyabinsk region from Bashkortostan. There, the tornado overturned several cars, knocked down poles and road signs.

"I saw a dark funnel in the shape of a triangle descending from the sky. I immediately realized it was a tornado. We shouldn't have something like that, I didn't believe it at first. I drove closer and stopped about three kilometers away, I didn't drive closer because I realized it was dangerous. Then, when it all passed, I came to a gas station. Everything was already torn apart here," said one of the eyewitnesses in Bashkortostan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bashkortostan, there were no casualties as a result of the tornado. The tornado damaged power lines and two cars.
