The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put Verkhovna Rada deputy and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko on the wanted list, RIA Novosti reported, citing the department's search database.
It is unknown what criminal case Tymoshenko is wanted for.
Yulia Tymoshenko was Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2005 and from 2007 to 2010. Now she heads the Batkivshchyna party.

For the second time during the war in Ukraine, the leaders of Russia and Western countries - with hints, but seriously - are discussing the likelihood of the Russian Armed Forces using nuclear weapons.
The first time Washington really feared escalation from the Kremlin—even to the point of an immediate nuclear strike—was in the fall of 2022. In the following months, such threats (which were made either officially, but in hints, or directly, but at an unofficial level) were recognized by many politicians and experts in the West as blackmail with elements of bluff.
But a year and a half later, the discussion about the threat of uncontrolled escalation towards nuclear war returned in a new form - and under different circumstances. Now the West must decide whether it is ready to escalate in order to save Ukraine, which theoretically threatens a real nuclear conflict.
In our analysis, we are looking for answers to the most difficult and terrible questions about the future of the conflict and the risks of a real nuclear war. Spoiler (reassuring, but not guaranteeing anything): such risks are still small.

Drones attacked North Ossetia for the first time. Authorities said the drones were targeting a military airfield.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on the morning of June 8, air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian drone over the territory of North Ossetia. The department does not provide any other details.
The head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, spoke about three downed drones in Mozdok. According to him, the drones “arrived from the Ukrainian side.” Menyailo claims that their target was a military airfield. There were no casualties or destruction, the head of the region said.

The death toll during yesterday's shelling of annexed Lugansk increased from four to six people: the bodies of two more dead were pulled out from under the rubble, said the Russian-appointed head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik.

Bloomberg : NATO Secretary General refused to create a five-year military aid fund for Ukraine worth $100 billion
According to the publication's sources, Jens Stoltenberg made this decision after encountering resistance from NATO member countries who do not want to commit to creating new funds to help Ukraine.
Under the new proposal, alliance members would commit to spending a total of at least 40 billion euros ($43 billion) a year on lethal and non-lethal aid to Ukraine. This corresponds to the average annual aid to the country since the Russian invasion in 2022.
The United States will account for about half of the amount, the other half will be provided by other NATO member countries.
The new plan will not require additional money, but NATO hopes it will provide Kyiv with greater predictability of support in the coming years. According to Bloomberg sources, the plan has broad support among almost all alliance countries except Hungary.

Only 27% of large Ukrainian thermal power plants are in working order
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal stated this during the telethon, Zn.ua reports .
“Russia destroyed 50% of our power generation capacity. In fact, today, due to missile and drone attacks, we have lost 9.2 gigawatts of electricity - this is half of our power with which we went through, for example, last winter,” Shmygal said.

The graffiti was discovered on June 7 in the seventh arrondissement of Paris. How many such drawings were made is still unknown. It also remains unclear whether the detainees are related to the people who placed coffins with French flags at the Eiffel Tower.

Military intelligence of Ukraine announced an attempt on the life of the former head of Kupyansk. He is reported to be in critical condition
On June 7, in Russia, an attempt was made on the life of Gennady Matsegora, the former head of Kupyansk, a city in the Kharkov region, which was captured by the Russian army at the beginning of a full-scale war and liberated as a result of a counter-offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the fall of 2022.
The Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported the assassination attempt. The agency did not directly take responsibility for the assassination attempt, but called Matsegora a “traitor to Ukraine.”
“Matsegora voluntarily agreed to full cooperation with the Russian invaders. In particular, in June 2022, he signed the so-called protocol for the creation of the occupation Kharkov administration and publicly announced this,” says the GUR telegram channel.
