Evgeny Shelkovnikov, correspondent of the Krasnoyarsk network publication NGS24.ru (federal network of city portals SHKULEV Media Holding) sentenced to three years of forced work under the article “Application of violence that is not life -threatening and health in relation to a representative of the authorities”. As an incentive of the convict, they can be released home for the weekend, but this permission of the administration should be earned.

The publication where Eugene works, spoke about the reasons for her case. On the first day of partial mobilization, September 22, 2022, in the lobby of the military enlistment office of the Soviet and central regions of Krasnoyarsk, the crew of NGS24.ru recorded comments on visitors.

Later in the military investigative department it was established that the hall of the military registration and enlistment office is a public place where an unlimited circle of persons has access, and the journalists were legally there (however, this wording was removed in a second decree).

- He did not just invite, but began to grab my hands and drag me into a closed part of the military registration and enlistment office. I was very scared. There were women with young draftees in the lobby. My operator stood at the door. I somehow burst out, took out the phone and turned on the camera to somehow protect myself. This man began to beat me in his hands in a manner, hit me several times and knocked out the phone out of his hands, then called to the help of the employees, ”says Evgenia. - The crush began, I remained surrounded by these men. I still managed to save some notes. My operator on the street recorded how they tried to drag me back into the building.

Nechiporenko demanded to block the doors of the Hall, so as not to release the journalist, called the police and Rosgvardia, wrote a statement on the silovnikov, accusing her of attack and causing physical pain. In evidence, he showed an abrasion at the temple.

According to him, the journalist threw the phone on the floor herself. The version of the 60-year-old military commissar was confirmed by all the employees of the military enlistment office. The only independent witness, a visitor to the commissariat, spoke in defense of the journalist.

Eugene introduced to the court the recorded beatings (hematomas), she did not admit guilt.
