Holiday in the occupied territories

In the territories that the Kremlin calls “annexed”, festivities are also held today. In the occupied Genichesk, Ukrainians were awarded Russian passports, in Novoaydar the families of the dead soldiers were awarded the State University, in Lugansk they presented bracelets and caps to those who called five songs about Russia.

So, in the capital's hotel "Cosmos" a meeting was held with participants in the Russian invasion of Ukraine: "A patriotic evening dedicated to the heroes of a special military operation." The organizers decided to especially note the “self -giving and self -sacrifice of participants in different nationalities”, as well as “a demonstration of the unity of the Russian people in difficult times for the Fatherland”. For visitors, they prepared an exhibition with portraits of the military “with a description of their exploits”, a concert and a panel discussion “with the participation of heroes in the format of an open microphone”.

In schools throughout the country, glasses are decorated with flags, pictures in the flowers of a tricolor and other symbols. So, in the Zhirnovsky district of the Volgograd region, the junctarians hung a sign “For peace” on the window.

Separately distinguished employees of kindergarten No. 45 in Ussuriysk: in the music hall they opened the memorial to “dead in their heroes”. Relatives of the dead Russian military opened the memorial, cutting a red ribbon, after which flowers were laid down with the kindergarten to the stand. “After that, the preschool children performed several songs about their homeland,” the local media write .

A concert was held on Red Square, which, as usual, gathered state employees. According to Sotavision, tickets at the entrance were sold for 500 rubles, and closer to the middle of the event they were given for free. Despite the cost, as well as the performances of Lyube, Nikolai Baskov, Grigory Leps, Larisa Valley, Shaman and Dima Bilan, the site remained semi -empty. The telegram channel “Says Nemoskva” notes that some of the viewers left without waiting for the end, “either because of a strong rain, or after she reported to the authorities.”
