According to the results of repatriation events, Ukraine returned the bodies of 254 military personnel. This was announced by the Coordinating headquarters on the treatment of prisoners of war.

" Based on the results of repatriation measures, 254 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine," the report said.

The coordination headquarters specified that it was possible to repatriate the bodies of 221 defenders who fought in the Donetsk direction; 25 dead troops in the Zaporizhzhya direction; four dead defenders from the Lugansk direction; Four dead troops whose bodies are transferred from morgues in Russia.

" The Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) will be transported by repatriated bodies and remains to certain state institutions. Representatives of law enforcement agencies and forensic experts will establish the identities of the dead," the headquarters added.
