Putin called the conditions of the ceasefire and began negotiations with Ukraine

Russia is ready to stop hostilities and start negotiations with Ukraine, but for this Ukrainian troops must be completely withdrawn from the Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Ministry), writes RBC.

Putin emphasized that we are talking about the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops "precisely from the entire territory of these regions within their administrative borders that existed at the time of their entry into Ukraine."

"As soon as they say in Kiev that they are ready for such a decision and begin the real withdrawal of troops from these regions, as well as officially notifying the refusal to join NATO, from our side immediately, at the same moment, the order will follow the order and start negotiations," the Russian President said. He emphasized that Russia "will do it immediately."

At the same time, Russia guarantees unhindered and safe discharge of Ukrainian units and formations. The President of Russia emphasized that Moscow is ready to sit at the negotiation table "at least tomorrow."

According to Putin, this is not a proposal for freezing the conflict, but about its final completion.

“Today we make another concrete, real peaceful proposal. If in Kiev and in the western capitals they refuse him, then this is their business,” Putin emphasized. He added that if the conflict continues, then the realities on Earth will change and "the conditions for negotiations will be different."

Putin also voiced other requirements. In particular, he stated that the goal of Russia is " neutral, non -unit, miraculous status of Ukraine, its demilitarization and denazification."

Putin added that Russia also requires "ensuring the rights of Russian -speaking" in Ukraine and the "adoption of new territorial realities." Ukraine should recognize the status of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions as constituent entities of the Russian Federation. All this should be recorded by international agreements.
